I was just currious what other peoples computer specs are. Mine:
256 MB of RAM
40 GB Hard Drive
64 MB video Card
Intel Pentium 3 1.80 GHz
Dimension 2300

I'm going to be getting a new one before FS2006 comes out.

I'm not too good at this.

Microsoft Windows XP
Home Edition
Version 2002

Intel (R)
Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.06 GHz
3.05 GHz, 1.50 GB of RAM

Is that what you mean?

Yea, that's what I mean.
You have a really good PC. 🙂

Thanks, 🙂 my dad paid something like $6500 for it.

That's a little on the steep side. 😳

Do you think it was worth it? We got it from Dell.

😳

Very nice setup, you have an excellent CPU ❗

It seems like it is too much, but it may be because it came with a ton of software. What size is your monitor? Do you know what your video card is?

Answered

I'll have to look at the receipt. When my dad gets back I'll ask him for it.

Nvidia G-Force 6600 GT (BFG)
Windows XP Home SP2

Asus P4P800 motherboard
40 gig. Western Digital HD
CDRW
DVD RW

built it myself for $1200.00 Canadian plus taxes.

Most sliders except clouds and water effects pretty well maxed out on fs9
FPS capped at 30 and the sim runs very smooth with all aircraft..

Must have a great video card for that price 😳

MyPilot, does FS run completely smooth and with what settings? The reason I ask is because I am thinking of upgrading soon. Cheers

😉

You mean the frame rates? If so, yes. The lowest i've ever seen them were 10. something. I always have all the slides at max also.

What's the most you have ever gotten?

I am running a rather mundane Dell Dimension 3000 with:

Pentium 4 2.8GHz.
512MB RAM
Intel Extreme Graphics with 128 MB RAM built into the motherboard.

I'm watching it all on a Dell 17 CRT monitor.

Not really, that's why I'm getting a new PC. I usually get 2-15 FPS. It has trouble with the add ons especially. I can barrly run the LDS 767. But even though my graphics card is low in MB, I still get pretty good grafics.
