Issue with Nav Lights

My nav lights and my beacon don't appear to be attached to my aircraft..

how do I go about fixing this?

I may be wrong on this, but if it's like the panel they are positioned in the cfg. file, that would have to be edited to change their positioning.

You most likely have to edit the aircraft.cfg file under the "lights" section of the file.

ok...

but how in the hell do you make changes to those numbers?, i assume they are co-ordinates of some sort...

First make a printout of the cfg. file, that way you can always restore anything that doesn't work, then experiment with the numbers and see what you get. That is what I do. That way if something didn't work or causes a problem you can always set it back to the original settings.

ok, i will give it a go, i generally make a backup copy with a date and time on the filename whenever I messabout with stuff like this so i can restore if required..

would I have to reload the game each time I try or just come out of the flight session and back in?

You should see the changes by just starting your flight. I know I have installed and placed gauges and that is all I had to do. When you select the plane for the flight it loads the files for it.

You can get the same effect switching planes.
