PIREPS are Pilot Reports, here is a brief description ➡ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PIREP
ACAR I've not yet discovered
I noticed it down the bottom of this site http://www.virtualcargolux.org/home/
its under "Flightkeeper"[/url]
I think ACAR is explained here.

Great sleuth-work Radarman, the pieces start falling into place.
It appears that ACARS is part of the program FS Flight Keeper which is one of the programs used by 'cargoluxvirtual'.
I wonder if one of our specialists can come up with a more rational definition

ACARS Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System
Here's a promo link for ACARS Data Link from the company I work for:

And an Aviation Electronics Glossary:
Yes FS Acars used to be used and can be used for a Virtual airline PIREP system. I took a look at it once when i used to use phpnuke but did not really like it. Then again that was an older version and perhaps the newer versions are better.
