I would like to know some of the vocabulary used with flight sim, such as livery and other words. 😀

Here are some FS and real world aviation terms you might like to know :

A livery is basically a word to describe the paint 'job' / paint pattern on an aircraft. I hope thats fairly accurate... 🙄

Just as you would expect, much of the terminology in FS comes from the aviation world although there are some things that specifically refer to the PC world.

The Index and Glossary in the Learning Center of FS9 is a good starting point her is an Aviation Glossary.

If you have a term or phrase you can't find or you need further explanation, posting a question on this site is probably a good starting point. There is a pretty good mix of real fliers and knowledgeable PC people.
