**VISTALINERS is back -- brandnew site!!**

Never been there before, but it looks like it's rather out of date. New theme/colors? Maybe, but doesn't look like much action going on...

I don't normally say that Sphagnum1, but I will this time - trust me. Don't be deceived by looks and the absence of blinking lights and spyware. You've obviously never had a Vistaliner in your fleet and you didn't notice the Beta version of the MD-11. There's much more to the history of the Vistaliners Group, the on and off-existence of a dedicated site, but that's besides the point. I wouldn't have drawn attention to the site, had I not been convinced that many enthusiasts weren't aware of the re-emergence of a dedicated site for one of the most experienced teams of freeware authoring.

Sure have 👍 I dont usually download freeware aircraft, but this takes some beating. She handles like a dream, the quality is amazing, and as for the sounds, well, you wont get more realistic sounds than this, they'll simply blow you away 😳 .

Check it out, old and new livery, excellent textures. Excellent self-contained package I should say. Unfortunately underrated because relatively unknown airline in the U.S..

Finally got around to test-fly the L-1011 Beta and I'm impressed.
Despite the file size - around 22MB the panel and sounds are aliased to the MSFS defaults. This is preferrable as we can choose our own sounds and panels this way.
The file size is probably caused by the seven different textures included. For those of you who are always searching for wingviews -- this baby has not one, but three different angles (on each wing of course) -- and looking very nice when you're banking.

As is to be expected of an experienced team like Vistaliners, the L-1011 Beta does not include an installer, you'll have to do it manually. But this one is so easy, even my cat could do it. 😀
