A cargo plane has made an emergency landing at Birmingham International Airport after a problem with its undercarriage.

The Boeing 737-300 crash landed on the main runway and collapsed on to its side.

Nobody was hurt, although its caused a lot of disruption:

That looks like a hard landing!...
But i am glad the crew got out unhurt. 🙂

Thanks for the link Jon....heard it on Severnsound this morning and was trying to find some info myself.

How can a Boeing's wheel just fall off 😕

The investigation is still underway - most likely metal fatigue Dont Know

This investigation will take some time 😕 ...
But as allredy sayed metal fatigue seems to be the most accurated theory.
