Will deleting my FS9 folder get rid of the sim alltogether or is there something else i should do. I can't find Flight Sim on my control panel/add or remove programs list

You have to also delete the 'Flight Simulator Files' folder which is under:
My Documents\Flight Simulator Files.
Also delete the 'FS9' folder under:
C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9
However, this will not delete the files in the registry. So....
Instead of doing that, put in disk one and click uninstall.
If you do not have disk one, go into the main FS folder, and find the uninstall.exe, double click it.
