Downloaded and installed the above aircraft from this site in the FS2004 Millitary Aircraft section (6.4MB)
Followed installation instructions
Error when FS2004 starts, says invalid file fssound.dll
That has to be in the "main" or "root" file.
I've put mine there and never had the problem, odd.
Save your old one, don't overwrite it.
I found this on the net.
so would fssound.ll need to be in the root folder of my drive i.e. c:\ or
c:\programfiles\microsoft games\flight simulator 9\ ??
if its in c:\programfiles\microsoft games\flight simulator 9\modules\
come up wih thsi error message when starting fs2004.
thanks ❓
I just downloaded both.
I don't know which one you downloaded but the read-me specifies that you should not put the sound DLL into your file.
Its for 2002 and 2000 only.
I would delete it and fly the aircracft, see if it has sound.
