First OfficerI have downloaded and installed the Cardington scenery and buildings which look good. The only problem is that the ground is pure white over the whole site and I am at a loss to know how to bring back grass, tarmac etc.

Chief CaptainEither you have a very old card that can't render the new textures or you can go to avsim and download and install new textures for the grass and runway-tarmac.
Be sure to back up your original texture folder.
First OfficerNo I don't think it is the card as other downloaded higher definition airports etc reproduce very well. The whitening is limited to the perimeter of the airship site and shows up as white surrounded by green countryside.
The pc, complete with card was new in March 2005 so the kit is of recent origin - I can't remember the spec but on the basis that everything else works I think the problem is somewhere in the sortware.
