😀 Hi RadarMan, I gather from browsing the forums that you are a piston engine man. Likewise, I also enjoy piston engined aircraft and especially the big radials. I have had a brief look at the various DC4's, DC6's and DC7's but there are not many comments on them. Can you recommend a good one to down load without me going through the lot to find one to suit. I am not concerned about livery but more about realistic flight characteristics, cockpits and sounds etc.
Also, can you recommend a good Super Constellation if available?
Many thanks,
Neseng

Take a look at this site -- http://www.calclassic.com/
I like the round sounds too!! Especially the turbo-compound Write 3350.
I flew for the forest service and BLM. I made the mistake of standing about 300 feet behind a YB-24 Privateer as it was running up. After it taxied away. I felt an itch on my face and skin. I was COVERED with a fine mist of Oil!!!!! Good stuff.!!
Fredericia01 Gave you the best link on the net. These that I've listed are probably on that link.

😀 Thanks Fredericia01 and RadarMan for the info and those links. I reckon I should find what I'm after having had a brief look at those sites.
Elkin, I think I know what you mean about standing behind any big radial that is doing run-ups. I remember the Super Connies starting up at Salisbury Airport in Rhodesia in the late 1950's and early 1960's, ......clouds of oily smoke, backfires and occasionally a few flames visable through the fug until the big radials finally fired up on several more cylinders and spun up to running speed. .......Mmmm, delicious and fond memories of a bygone era!
Once again, thanks for your responses guys, and may you enjoy many happy hours of flying your favourite aircraft to your favourite spots around the globe.
Cheers, Neseng.
