HI PEOPLE, I HAVE THE IFLY 747-400, WHEN I DISENGAGE THE AUTOTHROTTLE APPEARS A MESSAGE ON THE EICAS SAYING: AUTOTHROTTLE DISC-, THE PROBLEM IS THAT I CANĀ“T MAKE DISAPPEAR THIS MESSAGE AGAIN. DO YO KNOW WHAT TO DO?
THAT'S A WARNING MESSAGE THAT THE AUTO THROTTLES ARE DISCONNECTED, THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE THE MESSAGE GO AWAY IS TO TURN THE AUTO THROTTLES BACK ON. IF IT'S STILL ON AFTER YOU TURN THE AUTO THROTTLES BACK ON, CHECK THAT SPD(SPEED) IS SELECTED ON THE AUTOPILOT CONTROL PANEL.
* Don't type in caps, it's considered yelling, rude.
Note: The installation program puts the documentation in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\iFly\747-400\Manual.
Ok thanks alot, great. I turned the autothrottle again to fix that message, but i was thinking there was another way to do it. However, i saw that if you turn off the autothrottle when the airplane is at final, at low low low altittude, the a/t disconects and the message does not appear... why?...
I don't have the program. The message could be connected to the radar altimeter so that at low altitude the warning is inhibited.
