Please help adding GPS to PMDG 747.....
I followed the guide as best I can but not being a good at this sort of thing I cannot get it to work so can anyone help me? (sorry for the huge post.)

You changed 20 to 21... but did you change the rest? Certainly worth a try. The Debugger seems out of place.
I don't know the PMDG aircraft, nor how they open the windows above 9, but I don't think Shift+20 will work....🤔

I hadnt thought that far to be honest, as I say it is my first attempt at this.
It is really frustrating aahhhh 
On second thought the PMDGs and other advanced add-ons don't have a GPS because none is needed. The wheel is round - why make it square 🤔

It took me a while to learn how to use the GPS from FS9 and so I would just rather have that for navigating.

That's what I thought hence my question. Why not fly a Posky instead then? You can choose from a wide range of 747s, panels galore, textures you couldn't even count and soundsets that you want to use instead of the ambient waterfall sounds you're listening to now when you're trying to go to sleep.

Hi Tailhook... I would be interested to know why a GPS is not necessary in the PMDG aircraft or a MAP for that matter. Imagine this scenario, flying along at 5000 feet in overcast right to the ground and your FMC has a total failure and cannot be programmed and a dead radio to boot. With a GPS or MAP you could at least find an airport with an ILS and bring the plane down without any problem. I'm not looking for a shooting match here but merely bringing up a scenario that could happen. Perhaps I have missed something in the PMDG aircraft that would negate this, I'm not sure.
