I have 6700
ATi 1950X (2 512's) in crossfire.
4 gig ram, I'm still on XP but Vista will need the 4.
650 will make it but keep the USB peripherals to a minimum. a 700-750w would be best.
I max out most everything, I don't have an AI traffic yet, that will eat FPS.
I have the Intel 975X board

ye i was thinking that 2 1950's would be betta than a 2900 for the same price, right ??

considering fsx doesnt need dx10 yet... or does it ?? 😕

ye i was looking at a 600w but might bump it upto 700w

If I bought it now I would either go to a cheap card until DX 10 comes out or go bust and get the DX 10 card now.
DX 10 will be out in the fall...or so they say.

Well... i can tell you that the board you chose is SLI, not Crossfire... so no dual 1950's for you! Either get Nvidia Cards (which I highly reccomend over ATI) or change the processor to an AM2 and you will have more choices of Crossfire boards.

That is the crossfire version of the same board that I have... and I have pushed this board to its max and it keeps on going.
