😕 how come at guam when i use auto approach it takes me down to less than 75meters, well over 5,000 meters from the airport???????
What runway are you using?
What ILS are you tuning into NAV1?
What speed are you hitting the ILS?
Are you ensuring you switch from GPS to NAV before turning on APP (Approach)?
You put on auto land when you are to high or to far out or in. YOu have to do it at a certain time.
I am using runway 6L, at PGUM, I think its called, about 5 kilometers out it wants to land?! 😕
When I get the chance I will check it for you and post back here.
HEY bash, don't bother i was kinda pullin yer leg!
cuzz im really p-o-ed cuzz i cant recreate korean air's flight 801.
did they move the DME closer to the airport in real life and in the sim?
later im gonna check the sim out with afcad.
U-tubes videos on 801 says diff than i read on wiki.

Terrible taste.
I remember that well.....I have seen it enough times on Discovery. I am surprised I didn't realise what you were up to.
I recall that the ILS was out of service and the Captain descended too early. Not sure about the DME?
ya, but did ya try it, the landing?
i heard three different things!
one i wish i knew if the dme(or whatever it was) being so far out as it was
wouldn't really take you to the runway(thats one that i heard)
its too bad there wasn't somethin i could just load and do that flight, like they do with the airlines in them sim thingy's
