real time weather update

Hi guys,

Everytime I switch on the realtime weather update in FSX i get a error msg saying could not connect to server. My internet connection is definitely active at that time. I can surf any site. But really dosen't go through FSX.

Any clue how could i fix this. Is there any third party programme i've to install to play in realtime weather mode?

must be your firewall.

Yeah I'm firewalled by windows. Any harm if I switch firewall off during FSX and turn it back on after I complete the game?

The sever used for real weather is down sometimes. Go to the following site ➡ http://fs2k.zone.com/ , if you can read the web page, your connection is good and the sever is operating.
