ILS - Mooney Bravo

I can't seem to locate my glideslope indicator when tuned to the ILS. I have tuned both VOR's to the proper frequency and get nothing.

Am I missing something?

The Glideslope pointers are on the HSI(see picture). The ILS is very directional. If you're not in the correct position and altitude, you won't receive the correct indications.

CRJCapt's picture pretty much says it all. Make sure you are landing at an airport that has ILS landing facilities. Some of the smaller ones just have a localizer which gets you centred on the runway, but doesn't register a glide slope.

You'll get an indicator on either side of the compass - you can see it just above the heading and course selector knobs. You also have to be close enough to the airport for it to pickup.
