Could someone please explain just exactly what a .wx file is and how to use them.

Thanks for the site RM. It just gave me a download which I could not open. I did find out that it is weather information saved with a flight. What's confusing me is that I have some flight files with the .wx extension. It makes no sense to me. More confusion!
