Sorry to burst your bubble but this was released May 6th, 2008. How did you hear about it just now? It was a big deal then.

First OfficerThat's probably when Microsoft got done getting it bug free, every serious programs and their updates have bugs. Especially Operating Systems.
Chief CaptainRaz is right about the Update Release; however you had a choice then of downloading the whole truckload in one go and getting all the additional rubbish that tou don't either need, want or will screw up your system with it -- or, allow MS to feed you the essential bits and pieces only when God MS deems them necessary.
