Getting addons to work?

I have been looking through the helicopters and tried to download some of them. When I click on the one that I want, it pops up a menu that says run or save. I have tried to click "run" and nothing has happened. I tried it again and this time I clicked on "save". I guess my question is, after I have saved them on the computer, how can I actually fly these aircraft in the game? I am using the Flight Simulator 2004: Century of Flight. Also could anyone give me any tips on how to get some addon scenery to work if I can find any. Thanks in advance.

I know this is probably a stupid question but it said in the instructions to right click YF23 and then click paste.

What is YF23?

I'm guessing that YF23 is the aircraft you downloaded (Northrop fighter) and the directions probably wanted you to copy the YF23 folder and paste it into the aircraft folder in FS9.
