HI i just got a new computer with a 22" widescreen monitor and i've looked up many forums about how to find the FSX.cfg file for my computer. I can't seem to find it though. I'm running vista and i already checked the box to show "hidden files". The problem is that I go to "COMPUTER" then there is nothing that says "DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS" or any of the things the directions have said to do. How do i get to the cfg. file with VISTA?? i've run a computer search and everything... and i don't want fsx to be stretched on my monitor.
PLEASE HELP WITH STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS!!! THANKS

How about using the windows search? That's how I found it on my computer, though it may be different on Vista.
I'm running two different size HD widescreens 24 over 18 and all I did was go to settings-display in FSX and set the pixel ratio to match my smallest sceen. Done. No more stretched graphics. I'm running Vista Home Premium and I never adjusted any settings within Vista.
