Hi
I'm having a problem with my computer.... I had a virus on it for the last week, and I finally got it off. Now, it is always showing the recycle bin is full, and when I click to delete the contents, it stays full 😞 I opened it and there is absolutely nothing in it. Have any advice for me?

P.S. Copy the text from the ensuing page to Notepad. Give it any name and save it with a .reg extension. Then right click the file, select merge (into Registry) and reboot.

Thanks for your help... but still no luck 😞
I refreshed the icons on the desktop and went on safe mode without luck. On safe mode, the recycle bin is normal, but not on my account 😳

I also tried the MSDOS chkdsk command, which did nothing.

You tried what Michlin said and that didn't work either.

All I can tell you is to either read through all of MS's links to the recycle bin, wait for someone else to come along or go to a geek site.
I would go to the geeks.
