Runway/Airport info

Guest

Hi,

I'm a VFX animator and I'm working on a TV Pilot based at JFK/Idlewild in the early Sixties. We are building a cg version of the runways etc and wondered if anybody knew of a good source of information and/or models of the small things that belong around a runway and especially information about what would be current to that time. Some things obviously don't belong such as the digital boards we can see in some current photos. Others I'm not sure about. Did they always have those hash marks on the runways? Things like that. If you or someone you know could pass this information or where I could get this information to sixtiesairport@hotmail.com I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.
