Really looked foreward to getting this.
Placed in cdrom drive for autorun...........much working noise from the drive..........then nothing.
Tried D:\start.exe............much working noise plus flashing cdrom icon (must be ok this time??) then........nothing.
Am running Windows 7 home premium and this is for windows 8.
Ive had probs like that in the past where it says this prog needs win8, I click ok and it carries on!
Went to fltsim help and there was a suggestion to down load sp1 fix....duly done, then ................nothing

Try loading the fsx sp2 patch also.

I wont do that just now becuase I just tried to reload again whilst watching the cd drive window and it produced nothing.
I then got another cd (WW! aircraft) and did the same and everything was as it should be!
Definately points to a corrupt/damaged A340 cdrom dont you agree?
Possibly, but if it states that it's for W8 like you say that could be the problem too.
Not all W8 will run on W7, some will some won't.
I've passed on many pieces of software when it doesn't state that it works on my OS.
Just my take on it.
