Using FSX in Windows 10, new i7 16GB, several different types of installed addon scenery will not show up in the program scenery library. I have installed it all several different ways and it shows up in the Windows file explorer, but when looking in the Simulator the addon scenery files are empty.
See if this helps.
I've tried these exact steps as well as following along with other tutorials several times. Still nothing. I had the file explorer open on one screen and the FSX Addon Scenery window open on the other to make absolutely certain I was copying the files to the correct scenery folder, even restarted FSX before trying to load it, even though all the files show up in the computer, FSX says the same exact file is empty.
I am completely stumped. Any word on when 2020 will be released ?
After you see that it is loaded (it appears in the checked box) click your mouse on an empty spot on the right of the boxes.
I know it sounds strange but a few others have tried it and it seems to work.
No set date on the new sim.
