Addon scenery install help

scenicNY Guest

Hello, I just install the Logan airport scenery for FSX: https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/7550/fsx-logan-international-airport-scenery/ and am having trouble installing it. I did exactly what the page told me to do, and copied the BGL file to the addon scenery/scenery folder, but when i boot up FSX i still only get the default scenery. I've tried looking for it in the scenery library and refreshing the addon scenery but still no luck. Any idea what I can do?

yeah none of the solutions there seem to be working. IS there anyone who's successfully installed scenery into the addon scenery/scenery folder on FSX steam that could verify it's something wrong that im doing?

I didn't know it was for Steam.

yeah i've used that installation method for other sceneries but for the Logan airport freeware it doesn't work since it's only the .BGL file. It doesn't use an installer either, and when i've tried manually doing the aforementioned install method myself it still hasnt worked

Did you follow his directions.

To Install:

1. simply take the BGL file of your choice and place it into: Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder.

2. Start up the Flight sim and the changes will be present.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ONLY USE ONE BGL FILE AT A TIME:
ie: make sure there is only ONE 'KBOS.BGL' FILE in the Addon Scenery/scenery folder at any time, remove/delete any other KBOS.bgl to avoid incorrect parking.
