Can't find MSFS (2020) program files on my hard drive in Windows 10 home edition. Need file location to add scenery, any help appreciated.

To modify the cfg file just add .txt to the end and the file will open as a txt file and you can make any modifications you want, such as Tail Number, then save the file. Now go back and remove the .txt you added and the cfg file is modified to your specs.
Leave it to Microsoft to put it somewhere dumb like that 😂
I bought it on Steam and it still installed it there.
Would changing the installation directory to SteamLibrary/steamapps/common like a normal Steam game cause any issues?
