MSFS Joystick problem

Still unable to get MSFS to recognise my joystick. Can anyone give a simple explanation of what I can do, please.

1- Clean out your old software and download new software from your sticks site.
2- Try moving the stick to another USB port, preferably on the computer not a USB peripheral.
