Will i need to update my graphics card????

I only bought my pc last month from www.savastore.com and my card is an ATI Radeon 9550 256mb, the driver date is 30/11/2004.

If i need to download updated drivers where do i get them and how do i install them?

Is there any risk of my graphics card going "Tits Up" during this proceedure?

The one that you are using now is from November 2004. Since you card is not the latest I would say keep what you have.
The driver section of the site is down right now so I'll guess that you have about a 4.8 driver and the regular control panel not the Catalyst Panel. Right?

And no as long as you use ATI authorized drivers you can't harm the card.
As far as installation, they give you a very good step by step simple procedure.

http://www.ati.com/

If you want to adjust anything, AA or AF you can do it here.
Right click on your desktop.
Click on properties.
Click on the settings tab.
Click on advanced.
Click on 3D. (ATI)
ATI-Click on custom and set the sliders.
I have mine AA-4 AF-16.
***Don't have AA checked in the settings area of the sim

After changes don't forget to click on "Apply" on the bottom to lock your changes.
