Could someone please explain to me what (in plain layman terms the various parts of the Terrain section in FS9.cfg represent.

e.g What do these areas in my basic standard FS9.cfg really control:
[TERRAIN]
TERRAIN_ERROR_FACTOR=60.000000
TERRAIN_MIN_DEM_AREA=10.000000
TERRAIN_MAX_DEM_AREA=100.000000
TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21
TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=8
TERRAIN_AUTOGEN_DENSITY=2
TERRAIN_USE_GRADIENT_MAP=1
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_TEXTURES=0
TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=7.500000
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=0.000000
TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=1307992

Greatly appreciate your reply.

From what I've understood in the past they are the default settings for all the items listed. If you change any it will change, in this case, the look and the density of the textures, possibly affecting the fps.
That was a long sentence.

I expect to be corrected.
