Garmin 1000

I need a garmin 1000 panel for a Mooney, or a Cessna. I just want to try it in FS. I spent the day at the airport today, and this guy showed me the Garmin 1000 panel on his Mooney today. It was really cool, 😎 you don't even need your charts if you have that. (your supposed to keep them handy anyways) 😉

The 1000 is really nice. If he told you that you don't need to have your charts, he's playing with fire.

Fly into a Prohibited or Restricted zone and the FAA isn't going to let you off because "You had the GPS on." I've heard of people saying that before, however.

no, all that is included in the GPS, including ATIS, Tower, Ground, VOR, ect. frequencys. Also the floor and ceiling altitude for certain airspace.
