Lat/Long entry into ancient version of FS

paulpenta Guest

I have a version of FS that was probably written by the Wright brothers. Very basic stuff. I need to enter Lat/Long info in the position window and do not know how to translate normal lat/long figures into whatever language FS is using. (e.g. HYA @ 404009N 0701649W morph into numbers I do not understand.

Any help?

Thanks

That seems pretty simple...

404009 is 40 degrees 40 minutes 09 seconds above the equator
0701649 is 07 degrees 01 minutes 49 seconds left of London

Sounds like Lisbon or around there to me...
