Flying a Dash 7 from KLAX to KSEA, I screwed up on calculating the amount of fuel I needed. Eight minutes from KSEA, I ran out of gas, declared an emergency and started looking for a place to land. Not enough altitude to get to a nearby airport, so I found an open patch of ground between houses and managed to land, albeit, a bit hard. Report follows. Try not to laugh too hard.

What is interesting is that is that after repairing the aircraft from the hard landing, I still turned a profit and my airline's reputation went up.

And...since the pilot owns the airline, job security is assured. ROFL

For me, it is. 😀

Would you prefer, "Fly with us and you'll never fly with another airline"? And how about our frequent flyer airsick bags? No other airline has those! They come imprinted with, "OmegaAir Carry Out". Or our "I survived OmegaAir" t-shirts!?!

By the way, FS passengers got even with me today. Mad I never got within 20 kts of max airspeed for the 1900C and yet it did this:

Actually I like the "The last airline you'll ever fly" slogan just arbitrary enough to have class.

Looks like FS passengers need to add profit for misc. merchdise to handle the Tshirt sales etc.

And misc. costs from passengers' laundry bills. 😉
