This was a clip from CNN (wait for the commercial to finish playing for the video to start). The King Air had to make an approach with no gears, and man, what a landing! It looks better than most of mine WITH gears down!

Great job, but whay does CNN title it, "Plane attempts belly landing"? Are they trying to attract people hoping it wasn't successful?

In the footage I saw, it looked like he tried to land it one time with just two whells down and got a little sideways, and went off the runway. So, he went around and came back again with all the gear up.

Heck of a thing to do to a King Air, though. Crying or Very sad

WOW...!!! A little bit of a long run for the controlled landing. They all walked away and look to be fine. Yes I think that the media was hoping for a failure. They do like to sensationalize things quite a bit.

I would fly anytime or anywhere with that pilot.

Yes the media are always doing things like that, it is just to grab attention.

I think that is only for big passenger jets. Could be wrong though. 😉
