HELP! Multiplayer Comms Failure

Ok. Folks, it has become apparent that this is a serious problem for alot of Sim Pilots...Me for one.
I just Bought a quality set of Mic headphones for multi player mode in Flight Sim X. Very rarely I can actually ask for a radio check and get a response. Does anyone know why no one can hear anyone else in the game? I can give the tower a call and they reply in the Chat Box..They can hear me, but I can not hear them.

please help. Sad
