Getting a new graphics card- Addons?

Hi! I'm finally going to get a fast enough PC for quite a few enhancements to FS and have all settings for video set to near max- I have a homebuilt PC with:

an AMD 64 3000+,
512 MB of ddr400 Ram, soon to be upgraded to 1024,
120 GB of HD space

And on sunday, the final peice will be added- an Nvidea 6600 with 256 mb of ram- (to replave an Nvidea 2 with 8mb)

BTW I normally fly single engine GA aircraft.

Now, I know FS will run GREAT on this rig- but what can I do to make it look even better, and be more realistic? For free?

I have seen a TON of mesh downloads- are any of these any good, and who makes the best? Can I add more airports?

I normally fly in Alaska/Canada, but I often fly in other random areas as well.

PS- I am also interested in anything else- like better weather, etc.
