Hey,
I have my FsPassengers settings, on Career Mode, so I have to 'unlock' aircraft by flying enough time and getting enough points to get the rating to fly bigger aircraft. I am a Senior Second Officer, and it says I can fly any aircraft under 44000 lbs. I tried purchasing the Learjet and a few other turbojets, but it says I am not certified to fly them, although they are under the required weight ❗
Any ideas ❓
Thanks in advance 😉
Just a suggestion, but I remember I had to tweak some settings using a text editor on the aircraft.cfg files for the various planes when I had problems with payload. Either that or you've got 60 clinically obese people on your plane, its surely got to be one of them?
Regards
Pearly
Well Jon since your are a Senior Second Officer Which means C5Level ➡
...you cant fly the Lear Jet ➡
You have to be a First Officer Which means C6Level to fly it ➡
Keep on trying my friend. 😉
Check in your Start/All Programs/FSPassenegrs/Tools/Aircraft Price & Rank Browser.
It gives you very specific infos about the prices the rank levels and the crafts you can fly. 😉
Thanks Greekman, but its as though I have a different version to yours
Firstly, in your picture, under Certified Prop and Turboprop less than 12000kg you have 2 ratings, i.e. C4 and C5.
In my version above, it is in a separate rating, suggesting that after the 51 hours, I can fly any type of aircraft under a certain weight.
Also, I looked for the Aircraft Price & Rank Browser which I don't seem to have...
Thanks for your help Greekman 😉
Strange... Have you tried to update FSP?
wow, and my version is different also, It is the last version on the web page - Version released: 20050905
and it says you can't fly a jet of any type.
Certified Multi Engine Prop less than 5511 lbs :
22h00 Commercial Pilot (c3)
