my god spooky i downloaded this last night and had the exact same problems. There are 3 things you need to change in the config to get it to stop bouncing.

I can give a very vague description now, and update it later when i get home.

open the config and scroll down past all the plane variations to where it says something along the line of "Dont change anything after here" look for variable relating to centre of gravity, i think they are abbreviated to CG. make sure they are set to 0 (zero) this will balance the plane out.

Like i said i will post the exact details tonight, unless you copy and paste the config in here and i will highlight what needs changing.

Ok you need to go inot the config, and scroll down to where it says "don't change anything below". Then you need change the config so that it matches what i have made bold. This should then make your plane bounceless when taking off 🙂
