Help! OK,
I have a question, I want to set my Sim (FS9) at 1600x1200x32 permanently, but my desktop is 800x600x32, old eyes prevents me from setting the desktop any higher.
I'm tired of changing the settings every time I want to launch the Sim.
How? Dont Know

What kind of screen do you have Radarman? Whats the physical size? Is it TFT/LCD?

I have a "CRT" 22 inch Mitsubishi Diamontron, 20 viewable.

Quite a big screen - the high desktop resolutions are not readable when set high? I personally think 800x600 on a screen on such size is amazingly large 😳 I'm scouring the net to find a fix to set the resolution to what you specify every time you load FS... 😉

There used to be one in the free download "Power Toys" from MS, but that won't work for XP.
ATI puts a changer in the system tray but sometimes (often) it disappears until you reboot.

Too bad FS9 won't let you lock it in.

I found one, but I would still like to find a simple way of locking it in the Sim, they should have had that built in.
I haven't fully tried it out yet but it looks good.
Thanks Flyaway for searching one out.

It looks interesting, but nowhere is XP mentioned, they keep talking DOS.
I'll download and try it if the one I have now bombs out.
Thanks for finding it for me.

I cant seem to find anything you guys have not. But Radarman, I had a thought... do you run FS2004 in a window or Full screen - as in had the "Full Screen" option been set in the FS9 settings?

Answered

Your %100 right, I asked some others and just now got the same answer. I had it in "Window mode" so I could take full advantage of the "tool bar", dumb dumb me! Wall Bashing
