New HDD, Fs2004 is now running slowly

Hi Peeps,

Just a quick question, I think I know the answer but I need it confirming really.

I have just upgraded my system to include 2 x 80gb, 7200rpm HDD's which I am running on a RAID using RAID 0 (striping).

Just that since I have started running the RAID, the peformance of FS2004 had decreased drematically.

I was just wondering if anyone else is running a RAID system of any type and if thier peformance was decreased.

I guess that they are SATA drives right?I think that you have to change BIOS in order to run in SATA configuration.

Have a look at this ➡

Thanks for the prompt reply, but I have checked the Bios settings and everything. I have even updated the BIOS and graphics, SATA drivers but its still being juttery.

Did you just copy FS from your old disk to your new one or you make a fresh installation?

I made a fresh installation and installed the update.

Install your VGA with the drivers you already have(cd).Dont update it.
Unistall it first and clean the old drivers
(this will helps you ➡ http://www.drivercleaner.net/ )and re-install it.
Let us know the results if you try it. 😉
