Yes actually it works. Installed into the sub directory, then running the sim it told me it wasn't compatible with 2004. But it gave me an option to continue. Only bugs I found with the jump rockets attached to the shuttle when on start-up it bounced around on the runway lol and it didn't have a landing gear either.

I think it would be a kick to try to land that big glider.

There is a pack with the real thing
All six possible space shuttles
- OV-101 Enterprise
- OV-102 Columbia (lost during STS-107)
- OV-099 Challenger (lost during STS-51-L)
- OV-103 Discovery
- OV-104 Atlantis
- OV-105 Endeavour
are included with very detailed VC and default panel. It also includes the entry of the atmosphere (whit effects!)
+ some senery (entry, approach,...)
Compatible with FSX (also FS 9 and FS 2004 but with less features)
Very realistic

then search this torrent from pirate bay for FS 2004 :

you save the torrent,
then instal and/or use program 'bitlord', whit 'open torrent'
right click on the appearing torrent and 'start'
when you have the whole files downloaded, you can instal the package for free (run cs_shuttle_loader.exe or css001_1000.exe as example for FSX)

Then enjoy the Space shuttle in all his glory 😀 whell almost

you're only able to descend from space (no engine for space shuttle) but off course its painful not being able to simply take of and fly away
so for those who want t o make a ride( otherwise you're only able to descend)
solution: go into the 'aircraft.cfg' file in airplane directory 'CS_SSO'
search for [TurbineEngineData], then
replace 'static_thrust =1 ' with 'static_thrust =[u]23500[/u] '

and off you go

I downloaded the FS2004 version and it wirked very well, but couldn't get the booster rockets to release, cant find buttons to activate the release.
