Autoland

Im not saying that its stupid or anything else.
Its a matter of how everyone like it.

Second choice for me.

Q: Do you want Autoland for your planes?

A: Why not?

It doesn't mean I have to use it. Just an additional toy in my game that I can play around with.

I agree with Tailhook. I would download Autoland capabilities if it were simple to install, to use once or twice when absolutely needed, or to mess around with. The majority of the time, I'd fly manually, or use APP on the AP. Its always nice to have though 😉

I use the Autoland feature when the visibility is so low that I can't see anything. Ok, it's fun to try the approach and land the airplane safely in those conditions, but it's dangerous.

I've never really encountered the need for autoland. I prefer to land by hand wherever possible.

I have downloaded it in the past and used/played with it, but even though, I've had some hard/questionable landings whilst using it 😳 maybe I've been wrong to expect nice smooth text book landings with autoland. 🙄

When I have tried the autoland, I've also noticed that it isn't very sophisticated (probably because its freeware) so it makes for hard landings and off centre landings
