Hi Friends:

Can somebody guide me what exactly is VATSIM, I have heard a lot about it, now here are some remaining queries:

1. Is VATSIM free to use?
2. What exactly the softwares that need to be download to run VATSIM?
3. What should be the minimum system requirements ?
4. Any other information most welcome!!!

It is online ATC. The controllers are live. The pilots are live. Communication is either by microphone or text. The software required to use Vatsim doesn't require you to upgrade your computer.

Yes It is indeed. It requires great concentration to manage your flight with FsP and whilst responding to ATC requests etc but good fun and very satisfying 😉

I haven't been in Vatsim but have been flying for few times in Ivao. If you wan't to take a look of Ivao here's link http://ivao.aero/hq/

Ivao and Vatsim are quite equal to each. They have almost same amount of pilots online daily but in some countries might be large differences. For example I think USA has more pilots in Vatsim but UK has more in IVAO.
