I download it in order to check it(i use Fraps anyway)but i notice the followings in the read-me file. ➡
New in 0.5:
- slight modification of DLL-mapping/hooking algorithm. Now hooks more
reliably. Also, is now able to re-map into the application, after being
temporarily unmapped (for example: after WarCraft III cinematics)
- added an option to capture full-size video.
This is an experimental feature and it is turned off by default.
Be advised that this feature works fine for small-screen windowed apps,
but doesn't yet provide acceptable performance in games played in
full-screen. Also, the hard disk space is consumed 4 times faster
than during regular half-sized video capture.2. Supported operating systems:
-------------------------------
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME,
Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP.3. Capture specifications:
--------------------------
Screenshot format: 24 bit BMP files.
Video: uncompressed AVI-files (no audio).
I will check it in FS (later today) and i will share my conclusions.
where can i download frapps?
www.fraps.com (payware)
my qulity is much less than that even at 60 FPS is it worth buying/does it make any difference?

Fraps is just a recorder it doesnt improve quality. You will record exactly what see in your screen.60F/S is very well.
Think the fact that when you play your video you wont be in full size(except if you choose it)so the quality will be better. The only minus point i will gave it is that it creates Avi files that are huge. But by processing them with programs like WindowsMovieMaker you get them in wmv format which are in normal size and great video performance.
If you want my opinion its worth the price.
