Hey guys, Say I was going to Midway from Las Vegas and it said on my GPS that I was 4 hours away ( just guessing 4 hours) would it be 4 hours of my time in real life? or is the ETA on your GPS run Fast (say 30 min in an hour or so)

-Nick

I hope that made sense

GPS time is real time.keep on mind hat this time is depending on your GS(ground speed).

The ETA is calculatd as distance divided by speed. If you are flying in real time, ie. not using time acceleration, it is real time. Weather, time of day... it's all in real time unless you speed it up.

I have always wondered what the difference between ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and ETE (Estimated Time Enroute) is???

Anyone care to explain?

ETA is the Estimated time of arrival, i.e. 16:00 (4:00pm)

ETE is how long you need until you arrive, i.e 2:30 (2 hours and 30 minutes until arrival) 😉
