Hi,

Its been a long time since I last used VATSIM.

How do I speak to ATC with my mic?

I need help quick because I'm about to taxi and need to use Voice.

Thanks guys 😉

Does this help....

If you want to calibrate the microphone in the future, you can do so at any time
by clicking on "Start" and selecting "Options" from the drop down menu. Select
the “Voice” tab in the window which is displayed and click on the “Calibrate
Microphone” button in the next window. (See The Voice Options Screen
screenshot below.)

Hope so 😉

Ok I done that but when I hold down the key I want to speak - it comes up with a buzzing noise 😕

Can you give me a server that transmits on voice and not only text?

Thanks 😉

From the manual:

If you push a push-to-talk key but are not joined to a voice channel you will hear a buzzing noise. This is to prevent you from erroneously transmitting while no one else is listening.
