Dear All,
I was a user of FS2002, and, by opening the clock and using the lower right button, was able to tune the time compression.
I tried the same trick with FS2004, and that does not seem to work.
Has anybody else experienced the same problem?
Thank you for your help,
Philippe
Hi MrGenoux, I am bringing this to the forefront as I too am missing what you are asking: Where is the feature in 2004 to speed up the time on long flights?? I can't find it either. Thnx, rob
Its there .....but not as we knew it
You have to stop the sim by pressing alt on keyboard and click options
You could allways Yaw it forward
Funny how we miss these little oversights
Actually, there is an easier way!! Yes!!! I thought i was going to have to do the alt then menu thing also, but turns out all you have to do is hit 'R' and then the plus or minus key to slow or speed up the flights. I think the fastest you can speed it up is 16x with autopilot engaged, but I'm not sure?
Thanks
,
Thnx to you both...I'll try it right now!!! rob
Great ! It works both ways, however, is there not a indication on panels as to what speed you are at? I changed via "R" key, but couldn't see where it says what your time speed is so you can reset to 1X...Course, it does say if you go to Options, but who wants to do that! thnx again, rob
hmmm......... when i change it via the "r" key it says it on the top in a green bar. Like when i open doors, and do other things of that nature. I woner why it doesnt say it for you? Sorry.
,
comma, cuz I'm too stupid to see it up there in right upper corner!!! I was looking on instrument panel...thnx! rob
When I use the "R" key then the plus or minus keys the time compression rate is displayed in the upper right corner of the CRT screen.
