I have problems with small aircrafts parking in heavy gates.
Is there a way to prevent this as i never had this problem before until i re-installed fs2004

Download a program called Afcad2
With this little program you can assign all the parking slots to the correct aircraft and even airline
You may find that someone else has already done this so search for an upgraded afcad for your airport
