Name: rcmct641.zip Size: 8,776,782 Date: 07-02-2004 Downloads: 4947
FS2004 Mobile Control Tower Version 2004. Control the incoming and outgoing traffic on your RADAR screen (Marciano's radar gauge) or with the ground and traffic radar included in the FSUIPC add-on as AI planes fly around you. Rotating engine rotates the tower for a cockpit full 360 degree view on five different levels or with the virtual view. Completely re-designing of the main panel for a more professional look and new seven panels for other views. Now listed as Mobile Tower in the FS2004 planes list with 1 to 5 levels variation. The tower moves easily and rapidly from one level to another without FS2004 reloading scenery textures while traffic AI remains active. Revolutionary rotating and positioning engines by Rob Barendregt. Precise and exact "GoodYear Blimp" view ideal for AFCAD2 designer. Serves also as mirador or observatiopn tower anywhere. This is a completely new control tower and does not need the 2002 version which was downloaded more than 11,500 times. This successful accessory is intended to be the most complete and useful freeware control tower available at the moment for FS2004. Full web support. By Ronald R. Cachemaille. 1 of 2 files.

Completely re-designing of the main panel for a more professional look and new 7 panels for other views. Now listed as mobile tower in the FS2002 planes list with 1 to 5 levels variation. Have you bothered to look at the file named:
readme

Installation:
_____________

Just unzip “Mobile Control Tower 2004.zip” into your FS2004/Aircrafts Sub_Dir
Each of the 5 levels will show in your aircraft list in FS2004 in the category of "Mobile Control Tower” with each floor to select in the bottom window.

Gauges (if necessary) into your FS2004/Gauges Sub_Dir

note: gauges used are standard MS FS2004 Standard Gauges and others from various authors. You certainly already have them all in your computer. Anyway check for dates and versions.

IMPORTANT: The “F16.gauge” does not work with an unregistered version of FSUIPC. Eric Marciano, the author, has recently published the Key which is necessary to introduce in the FSUIPC window. The key is:
F16.gau - key: DSVT JE5S 6DUO
The inconvenience is, at least for me, that you must repeat the operation (????) of registering the key for each floor(!) Of course, they are like 5 different planes(!)
.It is not very logical, but this is the only way I found to eliminate error messages from FSUIPC.
Even after all this, you still receive sometimes messages that your FS2004 is using some gauges not registered with FSUIPC. Just don’t worry about this message, the Radar woks perfectly! I hope this bug will disappear in future version of the otherwise fantastic FUIPC.
For more info please go to his page: http://emarciano.free.fr/

By the way, that is from the latest version on avsim.

thank you i will do it

Control the incoming and outgoing traffic on your RADAR screen (MARCIANO’s great Radar gauge) or with the excellent Ground and Traffic Radar included in the FSUIPC addon as AI planes fly around you.Rotating engine rotates the tower for a cockpit full 360ª View on 5 different levels or with the virtual view. Your Control Tower ANYWHERE on ANY AIRPORT !
Full 360ª View on 5 different levels with virtual cockpit or on your keyboard using the great Serge Baye Active Camera Pro 2004
Control the incoming and outgoing traffic on your RADAR screen (thanks to the Eric MARCIANO’s great Radar gauge) or with the excellent Ground and Traffic Radar included in the FSUIPC addon, listen simultaneously to both Tower and Ground Radios, check the airport weather with the amazing WeatherRadar as well as the precise and always up to date weather reports from ActiveSky 2004, watch outside ftemperature and winds.

All on your tower panel. Even an elevator (fictuous) correct position.

For AFCAD 2 designer, a great tool to check the exact situation o gates, taxiways, runways, etc. with the ground “rondo” really taking place. See detail of exact runway line from the 1st Floor or the general and panoramic view of your 3 overlays from the 5th Floor
For the AI traffic builders and Traffic Tools users: the best way to check your complete traffic, seeing as aircrafts park, roll or take off and lands with the “TRAFFIC ACCELERATOR” (up to 4x) and 2 watches with real and GMT times.

All this without leaving the comfort of your “Mobile Control Tower” armchair !

Web upport:
http://www.valletaoro.com/ronalito/flightsim/project%20mobile%20control%20%20tower.htm

No support will be answered by email for what installation and Tower use are concerned. The included 3 languages Manuals and the information on the author’s Web Site (The Mobile control Tower) are considered to be self explanatory and clear enough for a normal installation and use of the Tower functions.

How to position your tower :
______________________________

If your are not an AFCAD 2 neither a FSNavigator user:
Just select in your favourite airport the gate of ramp which best suit your choice.
(Menu World/Select Airport and choose runway or location select gate/runway, etc)

If your are not an AFCAD 2 but a FSNavigator user:
In the FsNAvigator MAP panel, zoom in on the chosen airport until you see all the parking sports. Just select one with your right mouse and select option:
Move aircraft to here

Do this on various spots until you get the real general view of your airport. This is very quick and easy with FsNavigator.

If your are both an AFCAD 2 and FSNavigator user:

Select with the utmost precision the “ideal” spot for your virtual tower by placing one or various “Ramp GA small” pointing in the desired and correct position. You do not need to connect them with “connecting zones” lines but if you are a perfectionist and make the “Faults Finder” test you will receive, of course, an error message.
I, personally, choose parking sports around the “real” Control tower which is of course normally strategically situated.

By pointing 2 o 3 spots in the desired directions I get the desired effect and view/s. By saving the different options as “Flights” you can rapidly return to your favourite panorama.

On AFCAD 2 the simplest way to place your Tower is using the option: “Insert Tower View”:

DO NOT forget to refresh the FSNAVIGATOR DataBase to see later on the FsNAvigator MAP the new added spots !

If you go for a virtual view, you get a 360º panoramical view regardless of the “pointing” of your parking sport.

Tests:
_____

This “Mobile Control tower” has been tested successfully on a Pentium IV 2,4 512 RAM, GeoForce 4 64 Mb WINXP PRO and FS2004 AI option at 100%.
However no liability is taken for any damages or problems for the “to be” users

Contents of Zip file:

• 1 Zip File “Mobile Control Tower 2004.zip
• 1 Gauges.Zip
• This readme and Help in English, the same document in French and Spanish, readme.txt and file_id.diz
• Several screenshots (day and night) views from the different stages of the tower and of the transport truck.

Trade Marks:

AFCAD and Traffic Tools are excellent Programs from Lee Swordy
In FlightSIm: ttool132.zip & afcad131.zip

Tower Rotate and Tower Positioning Gauges have been especially build for the Mobile Control Tower II project and personally authorized to be used by Rob Barendregt.. We want to thank him for his great collaboration in this project.
