I paid more at the time but this is the card that I have that's now in that price range. (AGP)

your first link is a pci express card and your second link is an AGP card , im no expert but you have to get the right kind for your slot , have you got an AGP slot or a pci express slot ? i dont know if its possible to have both ,

if you have an AGP slot the card radarman recommends is good thats what i got after he recommended it to me , you can pick them up off EBAY for around £40 .

It has it's own ram so your has nothing to do with the card but the card will have a difficult time doing anything (rendering) with a small amount of ram like that.
You should have 512 minimum, best 1 gig. This is for XP and FS9, not for Vista and FSX, then you'll need considerably more.

All these responses to graphics cards are around 10 to 15 years old as are most other responses...utterly useless.
Why aren't there more up to date information questions and answers on this site, 21st century stuff......or am I missing some detail such as the site now being defunct.
