FS9 and FSX

Ive been playing about with the demo,trying this and that
1 FSX aircraft are not compatable with FS9 Crying or Very sad
2 FS9 aircraft are compatable with FSX(sort of) 👏

The 1st Airbus in FSX

Have a look at the tail,you can see through it 😳

Nice shots - its good to see theres compatability somewhere.

I take it new freeware aircraft will be made for FSX though?

alpha channels in bmp files only work for transparency in fsx. if you take a look in the texture files you'll see an aircraft now needs a seperate reflection map Wink

I think he means in the first one and that it's not opaque, you can see the scenery behind the tail.

Try copying envmap.bmp from your FS9 texture folder to your FSX texture folder, that does the trick to get rid of the transparency 🙂
